# Comparing Two Tests

## Comparing Two Tests

You can compare two completed tests for the same client to see how their performance has changed between the two sessions. This is useful for tracking progress over time, such as comparing a baseline test with a follow-up test after intervention.

### Selecting Tests to Compare

Open the client's details page and look at the Recent Tests table. Check the checkboxes next to two completed tests you want to compare, then click the Compare button. The comparison report opens in a new tab.

The comparison report shows the earlier test as T1 and the later test as T2, side by side. At the top, each test's date, age at the time of testing, medication, and intervention are listed, along with Validity, Credibility, and Dissimilarity indicators.

Below that, the Profiler Summary and Diagnosis Summary compare percentile scores and standardized (Z-score) performance across categories such as Attentiveness, Timeliness, Impulsiveness, and Hyper-Reactivity, making it easy to see whether performance improved, declined, or stayed the same between the two tests.

### Performance Graphs and Trend Summary

Further down, category breakdowns (such as Selective Attention, Processing Speed, Self-Regulation, Response-Regulation, Processing Speed Stability, and Task Persistence) show each test's percentage score side by side, so you can quickly spot where performance improved or declined.

The Absolute Performance Graph plots weighted performance measures at each stage of the test for T1 and T2 side by side, and the Performance Summary and Performance Comparison tables at the bottom use trend arrows to show whether distraction effects, fatigue, and overall performance over time improved, worsened, or stayed the same between the two tests.
